Saudha Society of Poetry & Indian Music presents Bengali Theatre & Music: Talk & musical recitation
As part of Saudha's Bangla Music Festival, this event features a brief talk by the poet T M Ahmed Kaysher on inter-relation between theatre and music as a whole and then it focuses on the history of music in Bengali theatre. The discussion highlights on the Tagorian thoughts and construction of music in his own theatre with beautiful demonstration of his theatre-music by the prominent Tagore exponent of this country Dr Imtiaz Ahmed. The music will be accompanied by Amith Dey on Keyboard and Paps Das on Tabla.
