Description

Internationally renowned architect Philip Gumuchdjian's series of scale models are being exhibited in the tithe barn during the last fortnight in June and represent the starting point for Philip's designs both realised and fantastical. On the opening morning of his exhibition, Philip will be joining us for a talk Sensing Place: What's the Point of Architecture? ahead of his book of the same name launching in September.

Philip Gumuchdjian founded Gumuchdjian Architects (GA) after 18 years with the Richard Rogers Partnership. Since founding his practice in 1998 he has won multiple construction industry and RIBA Awards including two Stephen Lawrence Prize. He chaired the RIBA Awards Group from 2014-2016 and was a member of the RIBA Grand Jury for the first International prize for excellence.
