The Treasury contains many stunning items. One of the most notable items being the magnificent “Gleane Cup”. This is “a seriously not to be missed opportunity” to learn more about this and other treasures.The treasury’s permanent display of precious metals and more, showcases the outstanding skills and workmanship of goldsmiths and silversmiths over the centuries. During this illustrated talk, Dr Mary Fewster, will be highlighting the “world famous Gleane Cup”. The treasury brings together one of the most magnificent collections of religious, secular, and historic artifacts of any parish church in England. The Treasury will be open following the talk for you to visit.Access: Wheelchair access via south door (by NEXT)
