Talk: 'The MetaMuseum and the World'
Wednesday, 11 December 2013 from 17:30 to 19:30 (GMT)
London, United Kingdom
What is the point of a museum of the world if the world itself has become a museum? In this talk Prof Mark Thurner (Visiting Fellow at UCL Institute of the Americas, 2013-14, and Professor of History at the University of Florida) will offer a conceptual 'Grand Tour' of this haunting question, taking us to Argentina, Mexico, Spain, Italy, and back to London.
Attendance is free of charge but registration is required.
