Bring storytime to life with inspiring training designed to get children talking and boost vocabulary development – fully aligned with the DfE Reading Framework.
This training:
- Shows how Talk Through Stories supports speech and vocabulary goals in the DfE Reading Framework.
- Shows how to prepare and bring a story to life
- Shows how to use talk to develop children’s understanding of new vocabulary
- Supports with classroom management routines that create security and focus for all pupils.
- Shares flexible timetabling options, including how to adapt and customise plans for your own setting.
The day concludes with time to create a personalised school plan, so you leave ready to put ideas into action straight away.
Who is it for?
- Reception and Year 1 teachers
- Especially helpful for teachers working with children who have limited exposure to rich language at home.
