Event description

Description

Christina Shewell, experienced voice teacher and voice therapist, will talk about the nature of a comfortable, healthy spoken voice, how to look after it and its relevance to health and a sense of well-being. Voice is the taken-for-granted background music to all we say; it can have a strong effect on listeners and indeed on our own sense of self.

Christina will take the group through some simple exercises for body, breath and voice. These will be relaxing and fun; no-one will be required to perform individually, and all exercises will be adjusted for people whatever their level of physical mobility.
