Event description
New for 2020, our Talk & Walk series explores the wildlife and habitats that make Haweswater one of the wildest corners of the Lake District

About this Event

Join RSPB Haweswater to explore the nooks, crannies and creatures of gnarly Naddle Forest on the first of our brand new Talk & Walk events for 2020.

Arriving at Naddle Farm, you can enjoy a cup of tea and biscuits whilst you settle in for a fascinating insight into the wildlife of Naddle Forest. The illustrated talk will feature beautiful camera trap footage and photographs of Naddle's wild inhabitants, including badgers, foxes, deer and more, the perfect backdrop to watch whilst Heather from RSPB Haweswater explains more about the wonderful wildlife of the forest.

Afterwards, you will embark upon an exclusive guided walk of gnarly Naddle Forest, where you will search for birds, plants, tracks and signs, and of course, red squirrels. You will have the opportunity to ask Heather any questions you have about the wildlife of Haweswater, set in the beautiful Lake District National Park, and to discover how the Haweswater team are enhancing habitats for nature and people.

Binoculars will be available to loan for the walk (for free).
