About this Event

Winning hearts and minds in the fight against poverty

This session will explore public attitudes towards poverty and share the latest research on how to build support for the solutions to tackle it. It will be full of practical tips you can use to win hearts and minds. The insights are based on research undertaken by the Frameworks Institute on behalf of the Joseph Rowntree Foundation who interviewed 20,000 people across the UK and tested different ways of talking about poverty and will be put in the context of the Covid-19 crisis. The morning will also include an optional 45 minutes of entry level media and social media training at the end.

By signing up the training you agree to complete a short online evaluation (2 minutes) both immediately after the training and one month afterwards to help us asses its impact.

Please note these trainings are typically oversubscribed so please cancel your ticket if you're no longer able to attend.

Please inform us of any accessibility requirements by emailing frances.rayner@povertyalliance.org

This training is intended to help people prepare for Challenge Poverty Week. Find out more about the week at www.challengepoverty.net
