Talking Data Webinar: The Journey to EmploymenT (JET) Framework from NPC
Wednesday, 18 June 2014 from 14:00 to 14:45 (BST)
San Francisco, California
London, United Kingdom
In the first of our Talking Data webinars Angela Kail from NPC will be presenting the JET framework designed to help charities think through how their work contributes to young people’s employability, and plan approaches to evaluation.
Based on evidence from the literature and insights from consultation with experts, NPC has identified seven groups of factors that contribute to successful job outcomes for young people: personal circumstances; emotional capabilities; attitudes to work; employability skills; qualifications, education and training; experience and involvement; and career management skills.
The framework presents a series of indicators and tools covering each of these aspects. The tools have been drawn together from existing sources, and reflect assessment of robustness, cost, and ease of use. This work is part of the Inspiring Impact shared measurement programme in the UK.
The webinar will include a short presentation follow by the opportunity for questions and discussion with Angela.
The webinars are free for all SIAA members and cost £20 for non-members. SIAA members should email email@example.com for their promotional code. All webinars are administered and paid for through Eventbrite which has a secure payment service.
