Join the British Library for this special English language CPD event.
With keynote talks from writer, editor, lecturer, and broadcaster David Crystal and sociolinguist Professor Jenny Cheshire, the day is designed for Secondary and Further Education English teachers with particular relevance for A-level teaching.
Hear from a range of specialists throughout the day including Jonnie Robinson, the British Library's curator for spoken English and Rebecca Woods, Senior Lecturer in Language Acquisition, and take your pick from a choice of workshop sessions to support and develop subject knowledge and invigorate your language teaching. The day culminates in a panel Q&A.
