We are delighted to offer our Talking Matters training as a evening session for Child Minders who are not able to attend daytime training sessions.

Session 1: Tuesday 23rd September 2025 from 6:30-8 pm

Session 2: Tuesday 30th September 2025 from 6:30 - 8pm

This is for practitioners working in Nottingham / Nottinghamshire who work with children aged 0-5.

Practitioners will learn about:

• the latest research into the importance of SLC

• typical stages of language development

• how to identify children with speech, language and communication needs (SLCN).

• strategies to support speech and language within classrooms and settings

• how to share these messages with parents to support the home learning environment.
