Event description

Description

A great deal of stigma and taboo still surrounds women-specific health and wellbeing, especially around gynaecological signs, symptoms and diseases. Embarrassment and lack of awareness is costing lives and stopping women seeking medical advice or attending routine screening appointments. At women's cancer charity The Eve Appeal, we are determined to change this by having open, frank conversations about gynaecological heath. Please join us and a fantastic panel of experts as we tackle the taboos around gynae health.

  • Dr. Christian Jessen – Leading media doctor, TV presenter and writer
  • Jane Garvey – Broadcaster, BBC Women’s Hour
  • Nimco Ali – Social activist and women’s rights campaigner
  • Dame Mary Archer – Scientist, Chair of Science Museum and former chair of Cambridge NHS Foundation Trust
  • Dr. Ellie Cannon – GP and media doctor, LBC, Best, Sky News and Mail on Sunday
  • Professor Lesley Regan – President of Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists
  • Paula Sherriff, MP –Tampon Tax abolition campaigner and Chair of the All Party Parliamentary Group on Women’s Health

Come to join us for a networking evening with drinks and canapes!
