Speaker Bio

Andy McGrath is a paranormal researcher and folklorist with over 25 years' experience in the field. A speaker, investigator, podcaster and author of A Monster Kids Guide, Beasts of Britain, and Hairy Humanoids, he is also the host of the TV series Weird Britain (History/Blaze) that seeks to celebrate the wonderful, histories, mysteries, folklore and fables of the British Isles.

Known as the Sherlock Holmes of the paranormal, Andy seamlessly connects modern-day encounters with ancient folklore, painting a picture of unknown creatures and unusual phenomena that might exist beyond the edge of scientific discovery and the human imagination.

Andy regularly appears on TV, radio, and podcast shows, such as: Talk Radio, The Unexplained with Howard Hughes, Paranormal Activity with Yvette Fielding, Sasquatch Chronicles, and Britain's largest breakfast television show This Morning.Andy also hosts the Beastly Theories Podcast, a self-described hopeful endeavour to discuss the highs and lows of paranormal research and obsession, with some of the most renowned researchers in the field.
