Sean Baker's Tangerine (2015) follows two transgender sex workers in Los Angeles, Sin-Dee and Alexandra, on Christmas Eve. When Sin-Dee discovers her pimp boyfriend Chester has been unfaithful, she enlists Alexandra to help her find him on a chaotic journey through Hollywood.
