About this event
Tantra is one of the most widely misunderstood traditions in the modern world. What began as a spiritual system rooted in presence, awareness, and union has been flattened into a buzzword—usually sexualised, often misused. But at its core, Tantra isn’t about performance or technique. It’s about being with what is. Feeling fully. Meeting yourself without looking away. For queer men, that invitation carries particular weight. So many of us have been taught to disconnect from our bodies, our emotions, even our desire for closeness. We live in a culture that both hypersexualises and suppresses queer intimacy, leaving many of us caught somewhere between shame and disembodiment. Tantra offers something different. A way to come back into the body without apology. To move energy, explore connection, and be witnessed in a way that feels safe. This is the third time we’ve run this workshop—and this month, it happens to fall during Pride. In a moment when visibility is everywhere but true connection is harder to find, the relevance of these practices cuts deeper. Now more than ever, there’s a need for GBTQ+ folk to explore what intimacy, Tantra, and consent actually mean. Not as abstract ideas, but as embodied experiences.Michael Peck guides this work gently but with clarity. Drawing from both classical and neo-Tantric practices, he creates a space where GBTQ+ men can explore breath, movement, energy and presence at their own pace. You don’t need to know anything beforehand. You don’t need to come with a partner. You just need to come as you are. There are guided practices, partner work, and moments of reflection. Boundaries are respected. Consent is constant. Everything is invitational.About your hostMichael Peck is a Conscious Embodiment Coach living in East London, passionate about being of service to others through facilitating Tension and Trauma Releasing Exercises (TRE®), Yoga, Tantric Breathwork & Meditation, Somatic Movement Therapy and Reiki.
