ABOUT THE SPEAKER

After starting out on the production line, David moved into IT at Nissan before rising up the ranks to overseeing all digital activities across Africa, the Middle East and India. Along the way, he has been intimately involved with some of the automaker's biggest marketing successes, including leading the Qashqai Europe launch — fusing social media and digital to compelling effect. He has demonstrated a skill for driving strong results at scale, such as developing a centralised social media team across three different continents, and setting up a global listening platform that has translated into stronger insights for social management. It's worth noting that he is one of the few 'social media experts' that has designed, coded and built cloud and internet solutions for a blue chip company.

In 2017 he co-founded Brave & Heart to be the antidote to juggernaut consultancies through a belief that we could bring courage and passion to digital experiences and create truly customer focused solutions.
