The wee festival that digs deep!
About this event
Taproot is a music and literature festival that brings a diversity of artists to the Isle of Lismore to celebrate four days of word, film and sound. This year's festival is featuring Gerda Stevenson, an award winning Scottish actor, director and writer; Mairi Campbell with her newest show "Auld Lang Syne", tales of time, love and friendship; Lesley Riddoch exploring Scotland’s inspiring northern European neighbours and what we can learn from them; writer and poet Norman Bissell presenting his new book "Barnhill", a novel telling the story of George Orwell’s time on Jura where he wrote ‘1984’; our very own eclectic Lismore talents and much much more! Join us on this magical island that inspires so many artists and be part of a truly Lismore creative gathering.
