About this event
Professor Richard Knowles will introduce us to the serious mismatch between strategic land use planning and transport investment that needs to be addressed to maximise the impact of new investment in urban public transport. He will use Transit Oriented Development (TOD) as his lens.
Professor Richard Knowles, a Visiting Professor for Huddersfield Business School, is an internationally renowned and accomplished researcher and educator in the area of transport and urban studies with an impeccable international academic reputation. He holds (or held) several significant posts including those of an Emeritus Professor at the University of Salford, Founding Editor of the Journal of Transport Geography and Chair of the International Geographical Union’s Research Commission on Transport and Geography.
