Don't miss this rare opportunity to gain a real insight into the life, traditions and culture of the Buddhist Monks of Tashi Lhunpo Monastery, South India.
Workshops: 10:15am – 2pm
As well as learning some of the movements used in Tibetan ritual dance, learn about the world of a Tibetan monk and how Buddhism is ‘lived’ in a monastery in India.
A series of rolling workshops including; making sand mandalas; printing a prayer flag; learning a few words of Tibetan and more. Each activity is taught by a monk, giving participants the opportunity to spend time talking with a young Tibetan and to learn about their life.
It is free of charge to attend the day workshops; however a charitable donation is suggested on the day.*
Evening Performance: The Power of Compassion: 7pm- 9pm
A rare chance to see the Monks of Tashi Lhunpo perform.
