Taste of Africa at Sixways
Sat 22 April 2017, 19:00 – 22:30 BST
Come and join us for a traditional African experience at Sixways Stadium!
Immerse yourself in Africa's unique culture with a variety of authentic culinary delights and interactive entertainment with 'Drum Cafe' who will have everyone feeling the beat!
In addition there will be a contemporary African art exhibition depicting current life and times in Zimbabwe.
The event will be raising money for two charities, Bhubesi Pride and Hope for the Village Child. Bhubesi Pride spreads the word of rugby throughout schools and communities in nine countries in east and southern Africa. Hope for the Village Child provides support for highly-impoverished communities in northern Nigeria.
100 per cent of the profits raised will help fund initiatives from both charities.
Bhubesi Pride is building a community centre with a rugby pitch and a netball court in Lilongwe, Malawi http://rugbyinafrica.org/2016/12/22/help-bpf-raise-funds-for-a-community-centre-sports-facility-in-lilongwe-malawi.
Hope for the Village Child is raising money for calcium supplements to help prevent rickets for children within their communities http://www.hvcfoundation.org.ng.
Your support will significantly change the lives of African children in need.
