What will I be tasting on the day?

Accepted Answer

Each ticket includes  1 x 25ml measure of Jackton Gin, 1 x 25ml measure of Jackton Rosé Gin, 1 x 25ml measure of Something Blue Gin, and 3 x bottles of mixer.

Question 2

Can I purchase any other drinks on the day?

Accepted Answer

Our Tasting Bar will be open throughout the event for attendees to purchase additional drinks, including our own RAER Scotch Whisky and our RAER Alliance wines. Please note that the drinks included in the package cannot be substituted, transferred or exchanged.

How long does the experience last?

Accepted Answer

Each ticket is valid for a two-hour visit to the Tasting Bar. Spaces in our Tasting Bar beyond this two-hour period are dependent on availability and are not guaranteed. We may ask for your co-operation in accommodating the next gin tasting after your timeslot is concluded.

Can I still join if I miss the start of my time-slot?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we will accommodate late-comers to the best of our ability. However, we recommend you arrive promptly at the start of your timeslot so that you can enjoy your tasting in a leisurely and relaxed manner.

Question 5

Can I purchase my favourite gin to take home?

Accepted Answer

Yes, our distillery shop will be open throughout the event for purchases of spirits, wines, glassware, and branded RAER merchandise. We're even offering a 5% discount on all gin purchases on the day. Please note that we are unable to allow bottles purchased in our shop to be opened on the premises.

Can I park at the venue?

Accepted Answer

We provide a limited amount of free parking spaces at the distillery. We also have a cycle-rack for bicycles. We recommend that, where possible, our guests use public transport, bike or taxi to get to us.

Question 7

Can I sit outside with my gin?

Accepted Answer

If it's nice weather, absolutely! The Tasting Bar patio will be open for attendees, unless weather is exceptionally poor. When using our patio, please be respectful of the private residence opposite.

Question 8

I'm coming quite far to get to Jackton. Can I book accommodation for the night?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we have twelve luxury cottages on-site for guests. Accommodation can be booked online at https://raer.co.uk/accommodation/
