About this event

  • Event lasts 1 hour 30 minutes

Join us on the first Wednesday of the month for our wine discovery series.

Find yourself in an unexpected adventure, where literature collides with fantastic German wines. Be prepared to be immersed in different wines and local foods of Germany, while our guest lecturer invites you with stories and the history of the Goths. Winemaking in Germany can be traced back into Ancient Rome, where their wine-making method matured and reached a peak in 1500 to become a main region in that wine-making canon. Because of its cooler climate, Germany has been known for their wine grapes that are regarded as sweeter wines. Come learn about the lesser-known yet decadent wines in Germany, and its influence to the German culture in the past and present.

We will explore five different wines of different types and grapes; We will feature a Riesling, the star of German wines, as well as some lesser known Wines. To top it all off, expect some fabulous food from the local area as well
