A unique evening of choral music performed by Evoke paired with wines presented by James Flewellen in the Great Hall of St. Bartholomew's Hospital.

Organised by The Friends of the Great Hall and Archive of St. Bartholomew's Hospital.

The Great Hall, designed by James Gibbs is a Grade 1* listed building and part of the oldest hospital in the UK. Founded in 1123 the hospital has been providing healthcare on the same site for almost 900 years.

Evoke is an award-winning chamber choir; they will present an evening of choral performance with inspiring music chosen from throughout the choral tradition while Dr James Flewellen,an award-winning wine writer,judge and educator will lead us through the art and science of tasting wine,introducing fine ines that have been carefully selected to complement the music and enrich the listening experience.

Be romanced by Brahms and Mendelssohn, embraced by the passionate Verdi and Lauridsen, and cherish the lifeblood of the land with Chilcott. As taste and sound intertwine, discover new ways of listening, and new ways of thinking about the world
