Francis Holland School Sloane Square Old Girls' Society cordially invites you to a private lecture on Theatre Picasso at the Tate Modern on Tuesday, 14th October at 10:30am.

Theatre Picasso is a major exhibition marking thecentenary of Picasso’s painting The Three Dancers 1925. The exhibition will bring together around 50 works by one of the most influential figures of the 20th century, exploring aspects of performance in his work. The Three Dancers will be at the heart of the exhibition, shown alongside Tate’s entire collection of works by Picasso, featuring famous paintings as Weeping Woman 1937 and Nude Woman in a Red Armchair 1932. The exhibition will also showcase prints, drawings, sculptures, textile works and collages, interwoven with key loans from leading Picasso museums in France.

Enjoy a warm welcome with refreshments, followed by a private lecture, and then take time to explore the exhibition at your leisure.

Itinerary:

10:30am – Arrival at Tate Modern; greeted by the Tours and Experiences Team with tea, coffee, and pastries

11:00am – One-hour introductory lecture presentation exploring the exhibition’s themes and key works

12:00pm onwards – Entry into the exhibition and free time to explore at leisure
