Can I bring my Homeschool children with me ?

Yes, you can bring your children/toddlers! They are welcome but remain your responsibility (we use needles/scissors). Please bring quiet activities for them. If you need coloring/drawing supplies, please email us beforehand at theartycraftycrescentclub@mail.com as on-site storage is limited.

Do I have to come weekly ?

You don't have to come weekly! Drop in whenever you can. Regular visits build skills, community, and project momentum, but we highly encourage a one-time visit to relax and try the art with no obligation to return!

Can I bring my own art project ?

You are welcome to work on any textile craft. Limitations: Tutor support prioritizes the monthly theme (Tatreez in October).

Weekly Women's Club: Stitch, Share, and Support Our Space

Join the Women's Club at Battersea Arts Center every Thursday (10 AM–1 PM) for a warm, creative space to unwind and connect.

Our workshops are run by a generous volunteer tutor, and we rely on community support to continue. Our ScrapStore membership (work and play scrapstore Tooting) has expired, and with no dedicated funding, we are asking for donations with your ticket to help us cover costs and provide materials for everyone.

October Focus: Tatreez & Solidarity

Learn Tatreez (Palestinian cross-stitch) with an introductory demonstration. Work on your own project, like a fabric journal or decorating a garment, or dedicate your stitching to a message of solidarity: asking for a ceasefire and aid for Gaza.

November Preview: Collaborative Banner

Next month, we’ll create a communal fabric banner by stitching words that warm the heart.
