Taverham & Drayton Litter Pickers are an inspiring group of volunteers who come together to make a difference by keeping the community clean.

These events are a great opportunity to meet new people, get outside and make a difference!

If you are not a keen litter picker, or would struggle to undertake this activity, we have many other ways that you can get involved! Everyone is invited!

START TIME: start at 10am, however please arrive from 9.45am.

END TIME: The litter pick is 1 hour in duration and ends at 11am, however we then have a group photo and have refreshments together after. Typically, the whole event ends at 11:30am.

IMPORTANT: Any litter picker needs to join our community membership - this is free of charge and enables us to keep your emergency contact details and give you our safety information. We require one form to be filled out per adult. These will be emailed to you to be printed at home or are available from us at the start of the litter pick.

All ages are welcome. Under 18s must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times, including those undertaking their DofE. Those aged 5-15 years old can work towards their green Blue Peter badges - which gives children free access to 200 UK attractions.

There will be free refreshments on the field afterwards (tea, coffee, hot chocolate, squash, biscuits etc). If you have any allergens, please let me know so that we can ensure you have options available to you.

All equipment is provided (hi vis, gloves, bin hoops and bin bags). Please wear suitable clothing, including long sleeve tops and long leg bottoms. Please note that we can not allow anyone to litter pick in open toed shoes.

For Health & Safety reasons, or in case we need to cancel the event, we ask that your attendance is booked in advance and a FREE ticket reserved for each member of your party. You do NOT need to print your ticket up to come to the event, just simply register :)

A First Aider and a First Aid box is always available at this event.

Event cancellation: In the event that we have extreme weather, the event will be cancelled via Eventbrite. You will receive an email notification at least 1 hour before the event would start. A Facebook post will also be shared and every effort to make contact with those who have booked tickets will be made.

If you can no longer attend, please cancel via Eventbrite.
