Taxation can be a highly controversial subject, and one which has wide a ranging personal, economic and political impact. Few issues in taxation elicit such impassioned debate as tax havens, the term now widely used to describe international finance centres.
What are the pros and cons of tax havens? And what is the international community doing to solve the problems of tax havens, without losing the wider economic benefits? Come along to hear from some of BU’s economic experts as they explain the issues and answer your questions.
