Event description

Description

"Sometimes I whisper it over to myself: Murderess. Murderess. It rustles, like a taffeta skirt along the floor."

The Feminist Book Club is back for 2018, discussing the finest in cult and contemporary feminist literature on the first Friday of every month.

This club is led by Feminist BFFs, a London collective which aims to bring academic Feminism together with the current surge of interest in Women’s Rights. FBFFs are an inclusive group, looking to bring together feminists from different backgrounds.

Taking place in the TCR Bar, February's club will discuss Margaret Atwood's extraordinarily potent tale of sexuality, cruelty and mystery. Recently adapted for a critically-acclaimed Netflix series, Alias Grace follows the true story of one of the most enigmatic and notorious women of the 1840s, from one of the world’s leading writers.

This club is open to all readers, and you're welcome to come along for one month or many. Please RSVP at the below link to register your spot.
