We are delighted to invite you to the NOCN Entry Level Award in Preparing to be a Volunteer course run by Teignbridge CVS.

Learners will gain knowledge about what being a volunteer means, the skills required to be a volunteer, which types of organisations involve volunteers, the tasks a volunteer may be required to undertake and will be able to find a relevant volunteer placement and make an application.

This is a 3 credit qualification with 5 main learning outcomes and learners must achieve all 3 credits
The course will include: one half day trainer led group session on Monday 22 February in Newton Abbot and some individual learning activities with individual support provided.
