About this event

Our beautiful Tea at Three will return once again to the Hospice Grounds on Saturday 16th August!

Arrival will be from 3pm and there will be pop up local stalls, music, a BBQ and the opportunity for us to say thank you for all your support!

Similar to previous years we will be holding our annual Butterfly Release on the day which will take place at 4:30pm. Not only is it a way of remembering those we hold dear who are no longer with us but it is also a way of celebrating what we hope are new beginnings. A butterfly is a symbol of new life and releasing one is a gentle and reverent action celebrating the memories and lives of those lost to us.

If nothing ever changed, there would be no such things as butterflies – Wendy Mass

Butterflies can be sponsored for £15 each and at the event you will be invited to collect your butterfly and release it. If you would prefer, or can’t come to the event, then one of our Hospice staff can release it on your behalf.

There is also an opportunity to pre order an Afternoon tea box to enjoy on the lawn. These will be available to collect from 3pm on the day.

Final date for all butterfly orders is Thursday14th August. Please note that no refunds are available once butterflies are ordered.

Organised by

Halton Haven Hospice provides specialist palliative care to people from Halton and surrounding areas who are living with terminal conditions. We are not part of the NHS, although we do receive some funding from them, we are a registered charity and our funding comes from our community through donations, fundraising events, our weekly lottery, and legacies left by supporters in their wills. Without this we wouldn’t be here to care for those who need us.

We love our local community and we love being involved, working with others to increase awareness of who we are and what we do. Thank you for choosing to support us.
