Tea & Talk with Rowan Huntley & Dr Joanne Johnson: 'Through Ice and Fire'

We are proud to offer this as a free event and we would never want cost to be a barrier to you attending. If you have the capacity, we would greatly appreciate a suggested donation to the museum of £5 per person to help these events continue.

Refreshments will be available in the Lecture Theatre from 1:45pm and the talk will begin at 2:00pm. The talk will last around 30-40 minutes followed by time for questions and conversation. We will wrap up around 3:00pm. We hope you'll also visit the Polar Museum, which is open from 10am - 4pm.

Yes! This event is designed for a non-academic audience but still prioritises the chance to learn something new or dive deeper into an interesting subject area. Feel free to bring a notepad and pen or just an open mind.

Unfortunately we cannot offer parking facilities, however please do get in touch regarding any access requirements.

We will have hot drinks and biscuits for you to enjoy. Please get in touch if you have specific dietary needs.
