About this event

The purpose of this course is to reframe the climate emergency in the context of human rights and equality and not to view it as an environmental emergency alone. It will raise your awareness of key human rights issues linked to this and inspire you to want to find out more.

  • Increased awareness of intersectionality in relation to climate justice and able to explore in their future work as a teacher how different structural inequalities combine and amplify how a person is impacted by the climate emergency
  • Increased ability to critically examine climate justice and its relevance to the climate emergency particularly through the lens of gender.
