About this workshop

This 4-hour online workshop provides a practical introduction to cloud computing using Amazon Web Services. Designed for beginners, the session explains core cloud concepts in a clear, accessible way and includes a guided, hands-on exercise.

AWS is a cloud computing platform that provides users with on-demand services such as virtual machines, database storage, and virtual cloud servers. You’ll explore how it works and launch your first virtual server using Amazon EC2. No prior cloud experience is required.

IMPORTANT: To take part in this workshop, you must create a free AWS account in advance. Please follow the instructions at the top of this workshop overview to set up your account.
