Tuesday 10th May 2016 1:30pm - 3:30pm
Venue: London CLC, Rectory Grove, London SW4 0EL
Host: Alan O'Donohoe
Aims: This event is designed to support the teaching of text-based programming in school, eg. upper Key Stage 2, Key Stage 3 or GCSE Computing. It is expected that those attending may have little or no previous experience of text-based programming with Python; though teachers with prior experience of teaching with Python should still gain from attending.
The event will follow a project-based approach where attendees will work in small groups to develop a coded solution in a similar style to the event described here: http://exa.im/codingdojo It is hoped that those attending will observe and experience teaching strategies that they can use in their own setting.
