Due to high demand, we are adding an additional entry route into our Teacher Enquiry Course Core Lesson Study, with a professional accrediation that has been co-developed with Sheffield Hallam University. Core Lesson Study will run throughout the academic year over three face to face workshops. This course will introduce participants to the concept of Lesson Study, a Japanese model of collaborative enquiry. Participants will create a portfolio across the year that captures their experience of implementing a Lesson Study enquiry within their school, to be considered for the final award of 'TDT Lesson Study Practitioner.' These portfolios will be jointly assessed and moderated by the Teacher Development Trust and Sheffield Hallam University.
This is professional accreditaion for a practitioner status, and does not include Masters credit.
The additional Day One will be held on Thursday 12th January, at the Teache Development Trust's London office.
Participants will then join their colleagues for the remaining days of the course:
Wednesday, 15 March 2017 from 9:30 to 15:30 (GMT)
Wednesday, 14 June 2017 from 9:30 to 15:30 (GMT)
This programme will support participants by:
Placing Lesson Study in the context of wider professional development
Providing the latest evidence on professional development
Giving an overview of the principles of Lesson Study
Providing practical resources and tools to implement Lesson Study
Highlighting research access available for wider staff

Ticket cost includes all three workshops.
