How does a glass of wine, an evening of opera and a chance to learn about ENO's landmark composition programme Finish This... sound? Join us for a relaxed evening, where you can learn about the Finish This... programme before you settle in to watch ENO's timeless production of Mozart's The Magic Flute.

Here's what to expect:

4:45-5:45pm – Your chance to discover Finish This... and how your school can sign up for it in 2024/25. Led by teacher and facilitator Lorna Lalji, who recently delivered Finish This... in her own school in Luton and former SEND teacher and learning consultant Emily Stratford.
(optional) 6-7pm - Relax with a glass of wine at the bar (it's on us)
(optional) 7pm – Sit back and enjoy an evening of magic, romance and timeless music atThe Magic Flute*

*we are currently able to offer one free ticket per person, however, depending on uptake of this event, we may be able to offer you a free 'plus one' ticket. If this is of interest, please choose the option upon booking and we will confirm whether we can offer this nearer the time.

About Finish This...

Finish This... is the English National Opera’s FREE national music making programme for schools; bringing a fusion of opera, film and animation into your classroom as a springboard for creative composition. Finish This… is designed to be delivered by both specialist and non-specialist teachers alike, with three different learner pathways for KS2, KS3 and SEND.

If the thought of teaching composition makes you nervous, or you're interested in bringing some opera into your classroom, or you're just looking for something a bit new and different, Finish This... could be the programme for you, so why not come along and see what you think!

This event is aimed at teachers who have not previously delivered Finish This... in their classrooms. It is also suitable for school leaders, senior leadership staff, or music hub staff -we'd love to see you there!
