About this event

  • Event lasts 1 hour

In this session, we’ll explore how the different roles we take on in school life can shape how we show up, sometimes in ways that leave our own needs behind.

We’ll talk about teacher wellbeing, the challenges of the modern education sector, and share strategies teachers can use to help look after themselves and their colleagues when things are tough.

Osian Leader will share learning from current psychological theory and his extensive experience as a psychotherapist, as well as his own experience of working in the education sector to explain why the role has a high emotional demand and offer some practical solutions.

This session can count towards your Continuing Professional Development (CPD), and we’re happy to provide a certificate after the session if you'd like one.
