A new course looking at colour mixing and brushwork linking to Impressionist & other works in The Enchanted Garden exhibition
For Art co-ordinators, teachers and support staff – no art experience needed!
Understanding the pressure on time and resources, we will be running our popular CPD courses as two-part twilight sessions over 2 consecutive Mondays
Inspired by works by Monet, Pissarro and Duncan Grant, learn how to introduce pupils to the use of different brushes and brushstrokes, paper types and water-based paints including poster, watercolour and gouache to create landscape effects.Gain practical tips on how to manage materials in the class-room.
Course tutor
Sarah Lowe trained as a fine artist. She has worked for 8 years as a primary class teacher, then as an Art specialist with responsibility for whole school curriculum planning.
All materials and tea/coffee included.
