About this event

  • Event lasts 5 hours 30 minutes

This event will be hosted by James Tucker and Alice Martin - Dorset NHS.

Face to face conference of expert-led CPL, professional discussion and collaboration.

How do we notice the learning need and support and scaffold to allow all children to achieve and move towards independence?

We will hear from Alice Martin, a lead practitioner from the Dorset Mental Health Support in Schools Team, who will guide us through the common behaviours we see, where they stem from and what we can do about them to ensure all children flourish.

In the afternoon, we will then unpick the latest guidance around being a highly effective Teaching Assistant and how the role enables us to lead children toward independence (both academically and socially and emotionally).
