Teaching Assistant Meet-Up
Join us for the very first (but hopefully not the last)
Teaching Assistant Meet-Up.
This event is free of charge to anyone working as a teaching assistant, learning support assistant or other similar role, or who are keen to share good practice, practical innovations and be inspired.
What is a Teaching Assistant Meet-Up?
The Teaching Assistant Meet-Up is an informal professional development and networking event focused on collaboration and sharing good practice.
What is the content of the Teaching Assistant Meet-Up?
That's up to you.
There will be a range of short sessions and attendees will be invited to share their ideas. There will also be the option (if you like) to do your own presentation on something that excites you, something that has worked well for you or just something you think would be useful to others.
Do I have to present a session?
No. But we would love it if you did :-)
The event will be divided into micro-presentations (lasting 7 minutes), nano-presentations (lasting 3 minutes) and round-table discussions (lasting 15 minutes) which are focussed on a theme. We'll be inviting people to present nearer the time and will publish a list of the different topics being covered before the event.
I can't get there at the start or need to leave early
The meet-up is an informal event where you can come and go as you please. You'll be sent a schedule beforehand and you can drop in and out.
