About this event

This fun and practical session is designed for children aged 7–11 to learn basic first aid skills in a safe, supportive environment. Children will take part in hands-on activities, including how to call 999, put someone in the recovery position, and manage small injuries. We'll also introduce CPR and AEDs in a child-friendly way.

All materials are provided, including teddies, pretend phones, bandages, and certificates. Every child will receive a First Aid Hero award and take home a simple guide.

The session is fully supervised and led by trained volunteers from AWDRNE (All Wheel Drive Response North East), a registered charity.
