Event Details

Do you wonder how you can most effectively help your child to cope with the daily stress of life, whilst making sure that they are resilient and most importantly able to communicate and speak effectively in Public?

The art of Communicating does not come naturally to everyone and more so in today's society with all the noise and distractions of technology, which on the one hand can be very useful but is definitely making sure that the art of Communications, having Confidence in Communications and Public Speaking is slowly disappearing.

This workshop is aimed at 10 -16 year olds where we will get them to start to explore the different styles of communication and how their own personalities align with each type. How to structure and present using body language and styles of speaking. We will also explore the fears behind communicating and speaking in public.

Communications and Public Speaking is a much needed skill for survival in today's society. This workshop will help them on the journey to understand the need for to be able to Communicate with Confidence and how best to use this skill. We need to be investing in our children and teaching them ways to navigate this world.

Message to Parents

It will be a drop off to registration and pick up only.

We ask that you ensure your child brings a notebook, pen, water and a snack.

If there are any medical conditions that we need to be aware of, please let us know at the earliest

This course is suitable for:

  • Parents wishing to invest in their children's personal development of communication skills

  • It is very useful for children involved in activities that require communicating with others, be it at school, college, youth club etc and will help them to inspire others.

  • It is also very relevant for any child wishing to feel confident when speaking on a 1 to 1 basis, in group settings and on stage.

What will they learn?

The workshop will help to build personal confidence in each young person. It will help them to focus and have engaging communications that promote better understanding, clear messaging and results.

It will increase their individual impact getting other young people and older to understand the message quicker and will save time for all and a sense of satisfaction.

It will improve their own personal morale, they will be aware of the areas they need to develop and with the new skills it will help them to feel more confident.

If your child has the skill set to be able to speak confidently and even go so far as to enjoy it in front of other people, (family gatherings, school group sessions, in the playground, interviews, applications and so much more), then they will be in a position to bring satisfaction to most people and most importantly themselves. Good and confident speaking, benefits not only those who speak well, but audiences too e.g. in school, exams, family environments and so much more. Looking forward to seeing your child at the event and starting their journey to build confidence in their communications & public speaking.
