Event Information
About this event
Please only apply if you are in this region and the course is applicable:
This project focuses on participant teachers from similar settings working together to understand what teaching for mastery is and how it can help to develop the mathematical understanding of the children that they teach. We will consider some theory on maths anxiety, metacognition and the zone of proximal development and how we can use our knowledge to enhance children’s learning experience.
This project is suitable for participants from all phases in a non-mainstream setting, or participants that work with SEND students in a mainstream setting.
Additional dates 9 March and 3 May 2022.
From 1pm - 4pm Carmel College for these additional dates.
Contact Jackie Springhall jspringhall@carmel.bhcet.org.uk for updates.
Participation is free.
