About this event

This is a one-day course on teaching gymnastics in the primary curriculum. It is suitable for both KS1 and KS2 teachers and will cover the following:

  • Teaching progressions of specific gymnastic skills in rolling, jumping, balancing and weight on hands
  • How to develop sequences using movement concepts
  • Transference of skills and sequences to apparatus

Please come suitably dressed for practical work. Don’t worry it is accessible - you won’t be asked to do a cartwheel (unless you want to)!

Refunds will be processed for cancellations received 5 or more working days prior to the event. No refund will be issued for cancellations received within 5 working days leading up to the event.
