On 28 September 2016, the Holocaust Educational Trust will launch a Teachers’ Guide for primary school teachers interested in teaching about the history of the Holocaust.
This evening event, hosted by Leeds Trinity University and the Holocaust Educational Trust, is aimed at Year 6 teachers and will explore the rationale for including discussion of the Holocaust in the primary classroom. Practical sessions will demonstrate lesson ideas and provide access to the Trust’s new age-appropriate teaching resources.
Workshops will be led by members of the Holocaust Educational Trust and there will be the opportunity to listen to personal testimony from a Holocaust survivor.
All teachers who attend this free event will receive a copy of the Primary Teachers’ Guide.
