About this event

  • Event lasts 45 minutes

Join professional dancer and teacher, come Soul-centred Mindset Coach Dorte Johansen for a free mini-master class to help you teach, manage and grow your dance classes with ease and in a way that's unique to you.

Learn how to use your time best possible to prepare, structure classes and courses to save time, set healthy and supportive boundaries for yourself as well as your class participants, and learn how to deliver your content with confidence and personality. Dorte will also share her best tips for getting your classes off the ground and building lasting communities.

Having worked as a dancer for over 20 years, Dorte set up her own school of dance, The Ishtar Academy, in 2009 and has been teaching students from all over the world since. In 2020 she started running courses to equip teachers to run classes and courses with confidence, and now also coaches dance teachers across various dance styles at international events as well as on a one to one basis.

This will be an informal workshop but aimed at giving you lots of takeaways including practical resources, tools and techniques.

Dorte Johansen is trained in various dance forms from Ballroom and Latin to Bellydance and Bollywood, and is also a dedicated yogi, mindfulness and meditation teacher as well as a soul-centred Mindset Coach and energy worker.
