TeachMeet #GAConf19 : Celebrating Geography
Event Information
Description
Join us at the GA Conference for the fifth annual GA Conference TeachMeet. This is a Free, high energy, high impact event. We are open to everyone, regardless of subject or phase. You don't need a #gaconf19 ticket to attend.
The theme is 'celebrating geography' so we are looking for stories of this in action, at all phases. We especially would like to hear from new voices, who haven't spoken at a TeachMeet before. Think 'what can attendees use in the classroom on Monday?'
The biggest geography themed teachmeet of the year.
The TeachMeet will take place at Manchester university on the 10th April 2018.
- We are open from 17:30 for food, drinks and chats.
- The TM will start with introductions at 17:50 with sessions commencing at 18:00 and finishing at 19:00. Drinks and snacks will be available.
Following on from the TeachMeet feel free to join us for the unofficial #beermeet at the Lass O'Gowire pub.
Venue details can be found here: http://www.foodoncampus.manchester.ac.uk/find-us/
