Description
This TeachMeet is a fun and FREE informal environment for teachers that gives a platform to network, share ideas and revel in innovation that drives our profession. Come along and join like-minded people sharing great ideas, passions, and insights for effective learning. It's a great opportunity to see what is working in education at the cutting edge.
At this TeachMeet, we have sourced some of the freshest ideas from leading innovators working within the local area. There will be a series of short 7-minute presentations and some mock classrooms with real students so learning will be hands-on and in real time.

Break-out sessions (3 x 15 min sessions will run at the same time)
There will be an opportunity for delegates to attend ONE break-out session each
Session A: 6th form cafe. The Flipped '101' mock classroom. A demo-classroom in real time using the 'Flipped 101 model' using research journals to inform learning. Session B: Main Hall Richard Price 'Iris Connect' platform demo and role of teacher as researcher. Ideas to transform learning. www.irisconnect.com
Session C: Paul Farrell:
'10 minutes of anything' - A Q&A session / plenary and chance to ask the experts and discuss future opportunities. An opportunity to chat to the presenters and network further!
