In light of the success of our last Teachmeet event, Poole High School and Wessex Schools Training Partnership are teaming up to bring you the chance to participate in this special event. You will be provided the opportunity to share great practice and learn new and engaging techniques for your classroom.
This year, we will be focussing on Assessment for Learning strategies and differentiation. You can participate as an interested observer or take part in one of the following roles:
1. 5 minute presenter
2. 5 minute teacher of an AFL technique in a mock classroom with attendees as students!
3. A market place stall holder where you can discuss an AFL or differentiation technique.
The evening will start with drinks and a buffet from 5:30pm Then we will enjoy 6 X 5 minute presentations on AFL or differentiation. Following on, and new this year, we will have a 30 minute networking opportunity in our Market Place; sharing ideas and tactics which can be employed and embedded in our own practice. Finally, we finish with the mock classroom where you will get experience of being a student in a classroom and see those strategies come to life!
These strategies will be given to you, to take back to your schools, in a handy keyring bound booklet as a reminder of, what we believe will be our best Teachmeet yet.
