"Simply putting together a number of people and expecting them to work as a team is not enough"
Join the team at Belbin for a masterclass in team building!
This highly participative and practical workshop will use Belbin Team Roles as the framework for looking at how to enhance communication and optimise individual and collective effectiveness within a team. There will be a focus on understanding the importance of diversity in high-performing teams, whether from the perspective of a team member or team leader.
Prior to the workshop, you will be provided with a link to take the Belbin Individual Report, which analyses someone's contributions in terms of the nine Belbin Team Roles. It offers advice and guidance on how you might work best, announce your preferences to others and cultivate latent talents. Your personalised results will be given to you on the day of the conference.
Key learning objectives:
- To increase self-awareness of behaviour and learn about the perception of others
- To value and enhance strengths
- To acknowledge and understand weaknesses in order to minimise these
- To raise understanding of how and why people behave as they do and increase respect for behavioural differences
- To enhance understanding of complementary styles and potential areas of misunderstanding or conflict
- To learn how best to communicate with and motivate people of different behavioural styles.
This conference will require you to take the online questionnaire in advance, and to use your confidential, Individual Report during the workshop. Please aim to complete the questionnaire at least one week before the conference.
Our early bird tickets are available for only 2 weeks, so grab yours now before they're gone!
